The photodegradation of different pesticides in aqueous solutions has been studied by using ultraviolet radiation. The effect of pH on the photodecomposition rate of distinct pesticides was examined. It was observed that the dark reactions were negligible. The kinetic parameters were determined assuming first order with respect to the absorbed radiation.
