ABSTRACT

In the present article the following subjects are presented:

 - A new method of electroplating aluminium
 - About two successive layers of Al2O3 with different microstructure on the known oxide produced by anodic oxidation on Aluminium metal, their sorptive and catalytic properties and their ageing; a new catalytic reactor from anodically oxidized Aluminium
 - Protection of an aluminium alloy from S.C.C. by properly oriented anodic coatings and interpretation of the formation of the active path; dependence of the time to failure, from the orientation of the notches and of the stress direction
 - n-semiconductor Al2O3 as anticorrosive pigments for metals (in known anticorrosive paints) and for marbles
 - Corrosion and protection of concrete rebars
 - Prediction of concrete cracking from the corrosion of rebars
 - Standardization of reinforced concrete specimens
 - Application of cathodic protection using atmospheric electricity
 - Diffusion of Fe2+ through protective coatings for steel
 - Case studies Buy this Article
