ABSTRACT

Imidazoles have been shown to be effective corrosion inhibitors for copper under a variety of environments. In order to develop an effective surface finish for copper, it is necessary to first understand the molecular structure of imidazoles on copper. This paper serves as a compilation of the work conducted in our research group concerning the molecular structure of imidazole and imidazole derivatives adsorbed onto copper.
