ABSTRACT
 
In isolated heart tissues, α1A-adrenoceptor blockade inhibits hypoxia-induced arrhythmias. α1-adrenoceptor blocking drugs have antifibrillatory effects in experimental coronary occlusion and reperfusion by inhibiting arrhythmogenic effects of myocardial α1-adrenoceptor stimulation.
