Reactions involving Fe(II) cyano complexes are suitable in order to study kinetic effects in surfactant solutions. The possibility of changing the nature of the ligands present in the inner-coordination shell of the iron(II) metal center and, therefore, the charges of the iron(II) complexes permit the observation of really different kinetic micellar effects. These micellar effects will be considered in the manuscript.
