ABSTRACT

The experimental data on the electronic conductivity across some (+)valve metal/anodic oxide/electrolyte systems are interpreted by some well known theoretical developments for the electronic current flow. From the experimental data and using the theoretical models the values of the relative dielectric constants for four valve-metal anodic oxides are calculated. These values are put together with the values of the dielectric constants for these films known from the literature. However, none of the theoretical models previously developed could be emphatically preferred in the interpretation of the electronic conductivity within the systems under consideration.
