Viral-induced immunosuppression is a known clinical phenomenon leading to significant morbidity and mortality. However, its recognition and treatment remain challenging in the clinical arena. Understanding the mechanism of viral-induced immunosuppression would lead to early diagnosis and treatment resulting in improved outcome.
