This article reviews recent work on zeolite acidity, with an emphasis on adsorption studies employing molecules which can undergo unimolecular, acid-catalyzed reactions. The observation of well-defined adsorption complexes for many of these molecules allows the determination of acid-site densities and provides a model for studying how reactants interact with the acid sites.
