ABSTRACT

Electrodeposition of Cobalt with a variety of alloys has been a subject of interest for more than decades. Combination of Cobalt, Nickel, and Iron (Co-Ni-Fe) nanocrystalline materials as coatings exhibits excellent magnetic, structural, mechanical, and morphological qualities, making them ideal for various industrial and technological applications. A variety of successful deposition processes can be realized through the creation of ternary ferromagnetic alloy materials. This review intends to provide specific insight into the Co-Ni-Fe coating preparation, the impact of operational parameters on deposit microstructure, as well as the mechanical, and electrochemical properties. Potential use of these nanocrystalline coatings in different applications, such as electronics, chemicals, renewable energy, and metallurgy industries has also been considered.
