ABSTRACT

The cyclopalladation of imines, hydrazones and  primary amines is described and the factors that influence the regioselectivity of the process are studied. The synthesis of some chiral cyclopalladated derivatives and their applications for the determination of the enantiomeric excess of Lewis bases and as resolving agents for monodentate phosphines are also reported.
