In this review article are summarized results of various authors from crystal growth of PbMoO₄, Pb₂MoO₅, Pb₅MoO₈. Typical growth defects are considered in connection with technological conditions. Special attention is paid to phase inhomogeneity of these crystals. An actualized part of the PbO-MoO₃ phase diagram is given. Pb₅MoO₈ is an incongruently melting compound. PbMoO₄ is a compound with variable composition.
