ABSTRACT

The aim of this review is to assess the current status of some applied aspects of triorganotin chemistry. The first topic deals with the insecticidal/larvicidal behavior of triorganotin compounds on three genera of mosquitoes (Aedes, Anopheles and Culex). The second topic reviewed will be the use of Mössbauer spectroscopy in investigating the speciation of triorganotins in sediments from various waterways.
