Recent studies of kinetic analysis of active intermediate species and the relative reactions in biochemical system are reviewed in this paper. Firstly we introduced five methods for studies concerning the active intermediate species in biological systems and then reviewed its applications in enzymatic reaction, protein folding progress, reactive oxygen species and oscillation reaction. In the mean time, future prospects in this area have also been presented. 118 references were cited.
