Chemical investigations of the aerial parts of Acalypha wilkesiana (Euphorbiaceae) led to the isolation and identification of six kaempferol glycosides where two of which are new:- kaempferol 3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside-5-O-β-D-glucopyranoside and 3,4’-di-O-α-L-rhamno-pyranoside besides four known hydrolysable tannins (galloylated glucose), on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic analysis
