ABSTRACT
 
The structural chemistry of the tin carboxylates is summarized in this bibliographic review of the crystallographic literature. The carboxylate ligand has been shown to function in a myriad of coordination modes which leads to a large variation of structural motifs with different coordination numbers and geometries about tin.
