Scope:
Current Topics in Phytochemistry is an international journal for publication of original research papers, full-length review articles, mini-reviews and short communications on all aspects of phytochemistry and phytochemical analysis, and their applications in a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary areas.

The scope of the Journal covers the entire range of pure and applied plant chemistry, plant biochemistry, plant molecular biology and related interdisciplinary aspects, including bioactivty studies of phytochemicals and their role and mode of action in pharmacological, medical, therapeutic and nutritional areas, plant protein biochemistry and proteomics, plant metabolism, metabolic pathways and metabolic regulation, ecological chemistry and biochemistry related to environmental interactions and stress-adaptations of plants, comparative phytochemistry and chemotaxonomy of plants, and studies and applications concerning phytochemicals in the areas of medicinal plant chemistry, phytotherapy, pharmacognosy, food and nutritional science, and agriculture.
