ABSTRACT

The best way to make a comparison between the analytical techniques is through the use of some of their analytical characteristics. It is usual practice to employ the detection limit for that purpose. However, other analytical characteristics may also provide some advantages for this comparison. For that reason, some of the most important analytical characteristics for electrothermal atomic absorption spectroscopy (ETAAS) are reviewed in this paper.
