ABSTRACT

An overview of the photochemical and thermal phosphine ligand incorporation and exchange reactions of organometallic cyclopentadienyl iron carbonyl complexes is presented in reference to our work on the mechanism of decarbonylation and ligand exchange processes of η⁵-cyclopentadienyl iron acyl, alkyl and amino carbene complexes.
