ABSTRACT

Electrochromic materials made of polymeric blends are described in this chapter with emphasis on the preparation method and conductive polymer used. Blends combining thermoplastics or elastomers with polypyrrole, polythiophene or polyaniline have been prepared electrochemically or chemically. These exhibit different optical contrast in different wavelength ranges.
